BALDING HAILS EXCEPTIONAL OISIN
October 18, 2025
|Irish Daily Mirror
ANDREW BALDING says it is “extraordinary” how Oisin Murphy has dominated the jockeys’ championship amid a turbulent season.
The rider partnered his 143th winner of the campaign this week and is 35 ahead of Billy Loughnane.
Murphy, 30, who is taking the title for the fifth time, was involved in a serious road traffic collision in April and later pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while over the prescribed limit of alcohol.
