INJURY SETBACK Anmaat
ANMAAT has “probably come to the end of the road” after suffering a setback in the buildup to his QIPCO Champion Stakes title defence at Ascot a fortnight today.
The seven-year-old, trained by Owen Burrows (right), a 40-1 winner of the QIPCO Champions Day feature last October, has finished second in three Group 1 races, including behind Delacroix in the Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown three weeks ago, in 2025.
