IDAH ADMITS IT'S BEEN STRUGGLE AT TIMES IN GLASGOW BUT FEELS EXPERIENCE WILL BENEFIT CELTIC AND IRELAND
ADAM IDAH insists he can handle the heat at Celtic Park after a topsy turvy year in Glasgow.
The 24-year-old Ireland striker arrived from Norwich for £9.5million last summer after excelling on loan the previous campaign, scoring nine goals including a last gasp winner in the Scottish Cup final.
But he failed to impress for periods this year, when he went 14 games from the end of November to January without scoring, starting only five of those matches.
He bounced back from that to end the year with a 20-goal season but his movements on the pitch mixed with his movements off it, when he was filmed getting sick in a taxi on a night out.
Yet, despite being subjected to life in a goldfish bowl, Idah maintains he can cope with the pressure of playing for the biggest club in Scotland.
He said: "At any big club it can be tough. The pressure is a lot and you are expected to deliver. I think with my experience now, you have to put that behind you. You know what you are good at.
