HULL WAITING FOR QUOTA CONFIRMATION BEFORE SIGNING KNIGHT, SAYS CARTWRIGHT

JOHN Cartwright has reaffirmed that Hull FC prop Liam Knight is in his plans for 2026.

In fact, the Hull head coach has admitted the club have things 'in place' with the player and are 'ready to go' in terms of a new deal.

However, Cartwright says Hull are still awaiting vital confirmation of the quota situation for next season.

The quota is expected to go up by at least one spot, allowing Hull to keep Knight, who has impressed since joining the club from Australia earlier this season.

The Mail reported this week that FC have tied Knight up on a new deal, with Cartwright as good as suggesting a new contract is agreed, but the lack of firm clarification from the governing body is frustrating the Hull boss.
