Shorrocks' one-game ban after Sezer challenge

SALFORD Red Devils loose-forward Joe Shorrocks has been suspended for one game after a challenge on Hull FC half-back Aidan Sezer.

The incident, which took place in the Red Devils' 38-6 defeat to Hull, was penalised at the time, with Sezer taking issue with Shorrocks' challenge.
Shorrocks has now received a Grade A late contact on kicker charge from the RFL's Match Review Panel and will serve a one-match ban, missing this Sunday's clash at St Helens. He now has 11 penalty points and has also received a fine.
