Saints announce exit of Hull bound forward Batchelor

ST Helens have confirmed the end-of-season departure of Hull FC-bound forward Joe Batchelor.
Hull Live exclusively reported the signing of the back rower back in March, with the current Saint set to swap the Red V for the Black and White next year.
Batchelor, the brother of Hull KR forward James Batchelor, is understood to have signed a multiyear deal with Hull. He was the first player they acquired for the 2026 season, with another Saints man, James Bell, also set to join the club next year.
Batchelor has spent seven seasons with St Helens, having joined ahead of the 2019 season from Championship outfit York Knights. The back rower made his Saints debut against Hull that season.
