ONE HALF OF DUO ON SOLO ADVENTURE

FOR many years, Toni and Alex from the girl duo Venus have been one of the area's most hard working and popular acts on the entertainment scene.

Just over four months ago Toni, one half of the pair, moved overseas to start a new chapter of her life, and it left Alex having to decide what she wanted to do going forward.
As the Venus duo, the girls worked together for more than 25 years and Alex took the decision to carry on with the Venus name, a tough decision for anyone.
I'm pleased to say she is still doing what she loves and, getting very well received by her audiences and Alex now has a busy schedule of bookings well into 2026.
Alex was born and bred in the Beverley area and around the time that her parents took over the running of The Railway pub in Driffield, which they did for many years.
