WINGER THRIVING, SAYS LIVERPOOL BOSS
Lewis Koumas
(STEVEN PASTON/ PA WIRE)
LIVERPOOL Under-21s boss Rob Page says he's been pleased to see the opportunities Lewis Koumas has been given at Hull City, and believes the winger is thriving in East Yorkshire.
Koumas started a second consecutive Championship game on Tuesday night as City fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat at promotion rivals Ipswich Town, and was deployed up front by boss Sergej Jakirovic.
The young Welsh international, who has nine caps for his country, has impressed since arriving on loan in January, with crucial goals in wins over Blackburn Rovers and Derby County.
