Hull play down departure fears on Knight

HULL FC have knocked back overnight reports from Australia linking Liam Knight with a return to the NRL.

Wide World of Sports have reported Knight wants to return to the Australian competition to be closer to his partner Danika Mason, who works for Channel Nine, in what would be a big blow to John Cartwright's side.

The report also states that Knight, still only 30, has 'attracted some interest from a couple of NRL clubs' and that 'his management is hoping to get a deal done in the coming weeks for 2026.'
