FC reaffirm Sam Eseh stance as Cartwright airs future reality

JOHN Cartwright has reaffirmed his stance regarding on-loan Hull FC prop Sam Eseh.
As first reported by Hull Live last month, the Black and Whites, who signed the front rower on a season long loan deal, want to keep the player at the club next year.
However, they face one problem: he's contracted at Wigan Warriors for the 2026 season.
The reigning Super League champions have a third year on Eseh's contract, meaning the 22-year-old is set to ply his trade in the Cherry and White.
But Hull haven't given up on pursuing a deal for next season, even if Cartwright admitted 'it's out of the club's hands.
Eseh has impressed in his second loan spell at the club, growing in confidence and stature in his 10 appearances so far.
