Buchanan hopes it's second time lucky

KIERAN Buchanan is hoping to right some wrongs and finish on the winning side at Wembley as York Knights face Featherstone Rovers in the 1895 Cup final this Saturday.
The former Hull FC youngster, who debuted in 2019 and spent two seasons in the first team, was part of the Batley side that suffered an agonising 12-10 defeat to Halifax Panthers in the 2023 final.
Now, he has a second chance at glory in the national stadium, with the 1895 cup competition rounding off a triple-header at Wembley alongside the men’s and women's Challenge Cup finals.
