PROPOSAL TO HOST NEW SPORT
How the new padel courts could look
PLANS have been submitted to East Riding Council seeking permission to convert tennis courts in Beverley into padel courts. If approved, two of the tennis courts at Norwood Recreation Park would be changed.
The park currently has five lawn tennis courts and two tarmac tennis courts. The application proposes converting two of the lawn courts into three covered padel courts.
