Apology as water main damage triggers issues

Water has apologised to residents on a Hull street after winter weather triggered leaks from a section of water main.Residents on Shannon Road in Longhill, east Hull, say they have endured six days of water pressure issues, with some left with no hot water and no heating when the region was hit with subzero temperatures.

A resident told us how they have been unable to switch on their heating and had periods of time with no water since last Thursday. They say they have been told works will be completed before the end of this week.
