Wife of key witness in IPS suicide case claims life threat to husband

The wife of Sushil Kumar, who is the key witness in the ongoing probe into the death of IPS officer Y Puran Kumar, has written to the top authorities claiming that her husband (Sushil) is facing daily torture and death threats inside Rohtak jail.
She has sought his immediate transfer to another prison, citing a "life-and-death emergency."
Sushil Kumar is currently lodged in district jail in Rohtak, as an undertrial in the case registered in Rohtak, which the Chandigarh Police are probing as part of alleged conspiracy linked to the IPS officer's suicide.
