The Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday suspended party legislator Humayun Kabir, days after he stoked controversy by claiming that he will lay the foundation stone of Babri Masjid in West Bengal's Murshidabad district on December 6, marking 33 years since the Ayodhya structure's demolition.
