S.I.T ARRESTS TDB OFFICIAL IN PROBE INTO SABARIMALA GOLD THEFT CASE

The special investigative team (SIT) probing the alleged misappropriation of gold from the Sabarimala temple has arrested a top Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) official in connection with the case, police said on Thursday.
B Murari Babu, a former TDB administrative officer at Sabarimala, was arrested from his home in Perunna area of Kottayam district late on Wednesday and questioned at the Kerala Police Crime Branch office in Thiruvananthapuram.
