JPSC Candidates Stage Protest in City, Demand Pending Results

A section of candidates waiting for the results of various recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) staged a demonstration outside the commission office on Circular Road under the Kotwali police station area in Ranchi city centre on Friday, demanding immediate publication of the results.

A JPSC official close to the developments said that during the demonstration, candidates mentioned recruitment examinations whose results have been pending for no less than nine months.
"They demanded the publication of the 11th and 13th JPSC Mains examination results, as well as the notification for the 14th JPSC examination. Apart from this, they also demanded the publication of the results of the recruitment tests conducted for the posts of food safety officer (FSO) and child development project officer (CDPO),"" the JPSC official said.
The official said candidates agitated for two hours, from 2 pm to 4 pm.
