RCA to Meet CM Over Hosting IPL Matches

With barely a month for the Indian Premier League (IPL) season to kick off, there is still no clarity on whether the ad hoc committee of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) or the Rajasthan Sports Council will hold the IPL matches in the state.
JAIPUR:
A dispute has been prevailing between the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) and the Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC) over organising the IPL matches next month. The matches were organised by the sports council during the last IPL season.
Under such circumstances, Jaideep Bihani, convener of the ad hoc committee of the RCA, has urged chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to resolve the matter. "I am likely to meet the chief minister on Saturday. The CM will take the final call on whether the RCA or RSSC should organise the matches," he added.
