IMD Predicts Heavy Rain in 28 Districts Today

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued an alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall in 28 districts for Saturday after the monsoon made an early entry in the state last week, according to an official statement.
JAIPUR:
"The circulation system remained in the same area over eastern Rajasthan today (on Friday). Another well-marked low, which is located over Jharkhand, is likely to move slowly in the north-western direction. Due to this system, there was moderate to heavy rainfall in several districts across Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Kota, and Jodhpur divisions on Friday. Such monsoon activity will be continued on Saturday as well during which Bharatpur and Kota may also experience extremely heavy rainfall," said Radhe Shyam Sharma, chief of IMD centre in Jaipur.
