23 cops questioned in custodial death of man

JAIPUR: At least 23 police officials in Kishanganj police station of Baran district were questioned on Tuesday after a 28-year-old murder accused died in their custody on Monday, with his kin accusing the cops of brutally assaulting him to get a false confession forcefully, said officials.
According to the police superintendent, Abhishek Andasu, said, “The local DSP spoke to the victim, Lokesh Suman (28) till around midnight on Sunday, and he was in sound health. His condition suddenly deteriorated on Monday morning. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead. We are investigating the roles o
