Two prime accused in online cheating gang arrested in Patna

Two prime accused allegedly involved in an online cheating gang linked to the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) staff and havaldar (CBIC & CBN) 2024 Tier-I examinations, conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at the Gulabbagh centre in Bihar's Purnia, were nabbed from Patna on Thursday, officials said.
PURNIA:
Cyber unit of Purnia police, acting on a tip-off, arrested Roushan Kumar alias Roushan Mukhiya and Rahul Raj, both residents of Nalanda.
Purnia superintendent of police (SP) Kartikeya K Sharma said, "They were arrested in connection with operating an online cheating racket from Patna," adding they were evading arrests since the racket was busted in November last year.
