Sasaram: SHO faces mob ire

A Station House Officer (SHO) was injured when a mob of around 50-60 individuals from a particular community attacked the Sagar Thana outpost in Sasaram town on Monday, police said, adding that the attack was allegedly triggered by the police's refusal to hand over four accused persons involved in the murder of an 18-year-old youth, Shahbaz.
SASARAM: A Station House Officer (SHO) was injured when a mob of around 50-60 individuals from a particular community attacked the Sagar Thana outpost in Sasaram town on Monday, police said, adding that the attack was allegedly triggered by the police's refusal to hand over four accused persons involved in the murder of an 18-year-old youth, Shahbaz.
"Shahbaz had been missing since May 13. His family had lodged a missing person complaint at the Town police station on May 16 after failing to trace him," police said.
