UP cabinet takes dip at Kumbh after meet

The Uttar Pradesh cabinet met in the Maha Kumbh Mela area in Prayagraj on Wednesday and took several key decisions on development projects aimed at boosting the state's infrastructure growth, following which chief minister Yogi Adityanath and his council of ministers took a holy dip in the confluence or Sangam of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers.

Addressing the media after the meeting—which comes on a day that also marked the first anniversary of the consecration of the Ram Lalla idol at the Ram temple in Ayodhya—Adityanath said several important topics were discussed, including policy matters on incentives in aerospace and defence sectors.
