Six routes for airport bus service to link Noida with NCR get nod

YEIDA WILL BEAR THE EXPENDITURE FOR THIS PROJECT DUE TO START IN 2025, BEFORE THE NOIDA AIRPORT BEGINS OPERATIONS
GREATER NOIDA: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) on Wednesday said that the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has approved routes for airport bus services likely to begin in February 2025.
Yeida will bear the expenditure for this project slated to become operational next year before the Noida international airport begins operations in April end, 2025, officials said.
The authority has decided to run 175 electric buses on 12 routes connecting Noida airport with Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi. Yeida will bear the cost of this airport bus service and the UPSRTC has approved six routes in phase I and the remaining six routes are being worked out with the state government officials.
