J&K refuse to bat v hosts Baroda amid pitch tampering allegations

J&K didn't take the field at the start of Day 3 of their Ranji Trophy Elite Group A game against Baroda alleging that the pitch was tampered with overnight to favour the hosts at the Reliance Stadium in Vadodara, according to a ESPNCricinfo report.
NEW DELHI: Play was held up for around 90 minutes on Saturday.
J&K, Baroda and champions Mumbai are in a three-way race for qualification for quarter-finals. Only two teams qualify from a group. On Saturday, Mumbai are on top with 29 points. J&K (also 29) are second and Baroda (27) third.
The match in Vadodara began only at 10.55am after the match referee Arjan Kripal Singh intervened.
