CITING AUTOPSY REPORT, A SENIOR OFFICER SAID THE THREE DIED 36 TO 48 HOURS BEFORE THEIR BODIES WERE FOUND ON WEDNESDAY
KOLKATA: Post-mortem examination conducted on two women and a teenage girl, whose bodies were found inside their house in Kolkata a day ago, found that they were murdered, a senior police officer said on Thursday, adding the autopsy report dismissed speculations that the three died by suicide.
The bodies of the three female members of a family were found in separate rooms on the third floor of their four-storey house in Tangra locality, hours after three male members of the family were injured after their car crashed into a Metro pillar in the city in the early hours on Wednesday. One of the injured told the police about the deaths, claiming the family planned to die by suicide due to huge debts and losses in their leather business.
