Ex-armyman held for raping minor in Barnala, say police

The police arrested an ex-armyman for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl, officials said on Monday.

BARNALA: Police identified the accused as Pishaura Singh, a resident of Thulliwal village. The case was registered under sections 64 (rape), 137(2) (kidnapping), 96 (procuration of child) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and section 4 of the Protection of Children
