Woman Rushed to Hospital Dies as Ambulance Doors Get Stuck

A 43-year-old woman died due to suffocation after the doors of an ambulance she was being rushed to a hospital after she attempted suicide got stuck for about 20 minutes, officials said on Monday.

JAIPUR: The incident was reported from the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan on Sunday night.
The woman allegedly attempted suicide at her home on Sunday evening, officials said. Her elder son found and rescued her within seconds, and informed his father. The two of them, along with the woman's younger son, rushed her to the Bhilwara Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, the officials said.
