THEY ARE OPPOSING THE UPPCL MOVE TO APPOINT CONSULTANTS FOR PRIVATISATION OF POWER DISCOMS
LUCKNOW: Power employees in Uttar Pradesh will continue their protest against the proposed privatisation by continuing to wear black armbands next week, the Vidyut Karmachari Sanyukt Sangharsh Samiti announced here on Saturday. The employees are opposing the UP Power Corporation Limited's (UPPCL) move to appoint consultants for the privatisation of Purvanchal and Dakshinanchal Power Distribution companies.
