Light rains lashed in parts of Kashmir on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) Srinagar centre said, adding that wet weather conditions are likely for the next two days.

Intermittent rain was recorded in central and north Kashmir.

An IMD update said 3.4 mm rainfall was recorded in the northern tourist resort of Gulmarg. The IMD bulletin added that 2.6 mm rainfall was seen in Kupwara district.
