Hindustan Zinc Q1 profit drops 5% to ₹2,234 crore

Vedanta group firm Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL) on Friday reported 4.7 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at 22,234 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025 on account of decline in revenue.
The company had posted a net profit of 2,345 crore in the year-ago period, Hindustan Zinc said in a filing to stock exchange BSE.
Revenue during the first quarter of FY26 dropped to 27,591 crore from 27,893 crore in the year-ago period.
