In Parl, Rashid slams J&K fund allocation

MP Abdul Rashid Sheikh, also known as Engineer Rashid, criticised the central government for reducing budgetary allocations to Jammu and Kashmir, arguing that the region deserved a special package similar to those granted to Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.

Speaking during the Zero Hour discussion in the Lok Sabha on Thursday, a day after being allowed to attend the ongoing budget session "in custody," Rashid accused the government of neglecting Jammu and Kashmir's financial needs despite its claims of development over the past five years.
