A climate scientist recently lamented that more and more people, particularly farmers, in the Eastern parts of India were being killed by lightning.
NEW DELHI: As he put it, intense thunderstorms cause people, logically, to seek refuge under large trees. But, these trees are lightning conductors and those seeking shelter under them get electrocuted.
