Director Santosh Singh talks about Shanaya Kapoor's film debut, the scrutiny surrounding star kids and handling criticism
After a couple of projects were announced and subsequently shelved, Shanaya Kapoor is finally making her acting debut. Shanaya is starring in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan opposite Vikrant Massey. Director Santosh Singh, who helmed the film, believes it was "destiny" that the debutante came aboard this project. "This is the right film for Shanaya to enter the industry. It's a challenging role, one that a lot of newcomers haven't done," he says.
