HC REFUSES TO LIFT STAY ON K'TAKA ORDER RESTRICTING PUBLIC GATHERINGS

The Karnataka high court on Thursday declined to lift the stay on the state government's October 18 order that mandated private organisations to obtain permission before holding any activities in public or government-owned spaces.
A bench of justices SG Pandit and Geetha KB of the Dharwad Bench refused to interfere with the interim stay ordered on October 28.
