Private sector firm Goodluck India Ltd on Wednesday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with BrahMos Aerospace Thiruvananthapuram Ltd and Axiscades Technologies to compete for development of India's fifthgeneration stealth fighter jet.

"This strategic partnership aligns with the government's Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) initiative, aiming to strengthen indigenous defence capabilities ... the consortium is poised to contribute significantly to India's strategic autonomy and establish the country as a hub for next-generation aerospace innovation," the firm said in a statement.
