CM inaugurates urban facilitation centre and eastern U.P.'s first senior citizen day care centre in Gorakhpur
GORAKHPUR: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday emphasised the importance of dialogue and public engagement as key pillars of a thriving democracy and sustainable urban development.
The chief minister made the remarks after inaugurating an urban facilitation centre and eastern Uttar Pradesh's first senior citizen day care centre in Gorakhpur. He noted that meaningful civic participation is essential for improving both the ease of doing business and the quality of life in cities.
"In a democracy, the public is not just seen as ordinary citizens, but revered as 'Janata Janardan'. It is with this spirit that we must move forward," he said.
