WOMAN'S BODY FOUND HANGING FROM TREE IN BIHAR

A 20-year-old woman was kidnapped and killed in Rohtas district of Bihar, police said on Monday, adding that her body was found hanging from a tree in Akorhi village of the district, located near her residence in Delhua village.
Police said the woman, who was a college student, was tonsured and her belongings were found scattered at the crime scene.
Sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) Kumar Vaibhav said, “Forensic samples have been collected from the scene and the body has been sent to Sadar hospital at Sasaram in Rohtas district for autopsy.”
