In her 1st R-Day address, CM Gupta outlines roadmap for ‘Viksit Delhi'

Chief minister Rekha Gupta, in her maiden Republic Day address at Chhatrasal Stadium, presented an 11-month report card and outlined a roadmap for a “Viksit Delhi” aligned with the national “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision.

After unfurling the Tricolour, she said her government had “overcome decades of administrative inertia” to get Delhi on the path of modernisation.Beginning with “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, she said January 26 symbolises India’s self-respect. Guided by “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, she highlighted developments such as Pink Cards for women and the transgender community, and new expressways like the Dwarka Expressway.
