The Encounter Started Amid Operations Against a Group of Ultras Terrorists Believed to Be Members of JeM Outfit
JAMMU: Three police constables were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, officials said, hours after three terrorists were also gunned down.
The encounter started around 8 am amid intensified operations led by Jammu and Kashmir Police against a recently infiltrated group of ultras believed to be members of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit, the officials said.
