'Rockets, drones were flying across Tehran'

Hundreds of nervous parents and relatives heaved a sigh of relief when the Mahan Airlines flight carrying around 290 Indians from war-hit Iran arrived at the Indira Gandhi International Airport as part of Operation Sindhu.
NEW DELHI:
Nearly 10,000 Indians, many of them students, were in Iran when hostilities erupted following Israel's air strikes on Iranian military and nuclear facilities.
Evacuees came out of Gate No. 6 at the Delhi airport, carrying national flags. While some of them chanted slogans such as "Bharat Mata ki Jai", others broke down after embracing their relatives.
