Residents are protesting the renaming of Mysuru's KRS Road to "Siddaramaiah Arogya Marga," citing the road's historical significance and questioning the propriety of naming a public space after a politician.

The Mysore City Corporation (MCC) said, "There is a historical significance of Princess Road, named in honour of Princess Krishnajammanni, must be preserved."

The ongoing debate over renaming Mysuru's KRS Road as "Siddaramaiah Arogya Marga" has been further complicated by revelations about a circle named after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the University Layout (Lingambudipalya) on the Dattagalli Outer Ring Road (ORR).
