19-YR-OLD HELD FOR RECORDING WOMEN IN PUBLIC

BENGALURU: A 19-year-old man from Manipur has been arrested by the Ashoknagar police in Bengaluru for allegedly filming women in public places without their consent and uploading the edited videos on Instagram in a bid to gain social media followers, police officers familiar with the matter said on Thursday.
The accused, Dilawar Hussain, who worked as a food delivery person, was arrested on Wednesday night and produced before a magistrate the next day, which sent him to 14 days of judicial custody, police said.
