Rain, snow likely at isolated places in Valley on Feb 9: MeT

The weather was sunny on Friday in Kashmir after recording below zero temperatures during the night, the meteorological centre in Srinagar said.
SRINAGAR: The residents woke up to a sunny and relatively warm day after the night temperatures had plunged below normal.
The MeT said that the summer capital Srinagar recorded a minimum of -3.3 degrees Celsius, some 3 degrees below normal on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday.
The lowest was recorded in the northern ski resort of Gulmarg where mercury plunged to a bone-chilling temperature of -8.6 degrees Celsius during the night. In the southern resort of Pahalgam, the MeT recorded a low of -6.4 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the MeT said that the weather will remain dry for Saturday after which there are chances of rain and snowfall.
