Pupils' research results in museum exhibition of wartime pictures

TWO sixth form pupils have helped breathe new life into wartime memories at a Devon museum, with a powerful new exhibition uncovering local stories from the Second World War.

Year 12 pupils Tilly and Harley, from Kingsbridge Community College (KCC), have been working closely with Cookworthy Museum as part of the school's sixth form enrichment programme, spending several weeks combing through thousands of historical photographs. The collaboration has led to the launch of a new exhibition, now open to the public, showcasing rarely seen images and untold stories from the area's wartime past.
