Police to be extra vigilant to stop people poaching

SIGHTINGS of people with guns has triggered a crack down on poachers in Teignbridge.
Police are stepping up their activities, following reports of suspected poachers in rural areas.
Police will be carrying out additional proactive patrols in response to reports of suspected deer poaching.
Officers will be using thermal imaging cameras and drones to detect illicit activity.
PC George Miller from the local neighbourhood team said: "There have been sightings from farmers and the general public of individuals with hunting guns and coursing with dogs in areas where we know deer are located. This illegal activity will not be tolerated.
