A festival that brings dancers from all over the world to the area is promising the party of the year as it gets ready to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
The Billingham International Folklore Festival of World Dance (BIFF) will mark six decades of entertaining audiences by showcasing the talents of over 250 international, national and regional dancers in venues this summer.
Dozens of events and performances will take place across the Tees Valley over nine days between August 9 to 17.
They will include headline theatrical folklore events, international dance workshops, museum costume exhibitions, a children's club, free taster performances, and daily arena showcases in Billingham town centre.
