University City Road partially closed for 40 days

The Sharjah Public Works Department has announced a partial closure of University City Road, extending from the intersection of Sheikh Saud Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Street to the Zawaya Walk project in the Al Shahba area.
The closure represents a component of the Middle Road Project, which is a programme of works designed for the extraction of surface water and groundwater.
The project is being implemented by the department with a view to enhancing infrastructure and accommodating increasing rainfall during the coming seasons.
