Pak invited to join US-led Gaza Board of Peace

Pakistan has been invited to be a part of the Gaza “Board of Peace” that is being formed by US President Donald Trump, Pakistan Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

“The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif, has received the invitation from the president of the United States to join the Board of Peace on Gaza,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi in response to media queries.
“Pakistan will remain engaged with international efforts for peace and security in Gaza, leading to a lasting solution to the Palestine issue in accordance with United Nations resolutions,” he added.
