Muqam thanks China for sending relief package for flood-hit families

Two Chinese relief flights carrying 300 tents and 9,000 blankets landed at Nour Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi for families displaced by the floods.

Federal Minister Engr Amir Muqam, NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik, Chinese Ambassador Jiang
Zaidong and officials from the Foreign Office and NDMA received the consignment.
Speaking on the occasion, Muqam thanked China for the timely assistance and said that China's contribution is not only a humanitarian endeavour but also a reaffirmation of the everlasting Pakistan-China friendship.
